“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

This life, this land where the lemons are thrown into the mix, is only temporary. It’s just another part of God’s perfect plan to draw us nearer to Him, which is where we have the choice to taste the sweetness of His honey. Although a variety of lemons we may each be thrown (some small, some big, some ripe, some more sour), we are all given the glorious opportunity to taste a part of His richness in the honey He offers us with open hands. The honey of hope and peace found in faith and trust in Him and His promises. An everlasting perfect eternity found in a glorious land, the Promise Land, the land flowing with milk in its richest form and honey in its purest! The land where “lemons” won’t exist! The land where we will spend eternity with the Supplier Himself, Jesus Christ! Oh…the land of milk and honey.

Hello everyone, I’m Cristi, a stay-at-home momma to five, well technically four since one has gone to college. However, I’m still her mommy, and she still needs me, and I’m still here, so I guess that still means I am a stay-at-home momma to five beautiful children! I’m also a wife to a hard working, God fearing husband who I’m still falling in love with… most of the time! :) But most importantly, I’m a believer, a christian, a Jesus loving woman just trying to remember day by day, moment by moment that HE is in control, always has been, and always will be! I’ve been thrown so many lemons in the last couple of years, that my cup runneth over with honey, HIS honey, HIS peace, HIS grace, HIS forgiveness, HIS unfailing love. The honey I’ve experienced has been so sweet at times, I hope it is never forgotten. And if that means I have to remember the lemons too, then I’ll accept. So that’s where this blog comes to life…just me wanting to share some of my lemons and honey with you. Enjoy.

  1. I love you with all my heart and am so proud to call you my wife!

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14-16‬ NIV)

  2. What a wonderful gift for writing you have, Cristi! Thank you for sharing and I’m so looking forward to reading more. :)
